I'm not really sure if this is a hedgehog or a porcupine, but you get the idea. If you're in Britain, it's a hedgehog, and if you're in America, it's a porcupine. The cactus is the same everywhere. True, porcupines are rodents, and hedgehogs are not. And they don't look much alike, either. Still hard to tell from a cartoon.

Maybe you're just saying "that's what people think of when they see this image", but it should be noted that hedgehogs and porcupines are entirely different species.
