Porcelain figurines don't have much sentimental value when you buy them to add to your collection, but when a figurine is made and given to you by a loved one it becomes far more special than some mere collectible.

And if that loved one should pass away the person who received the figurine may start to believe it has special properties, as if the soul of the deceased has been imbued in the figure to help protect their love.

But before you convince others to believe in the magic inside your figurine you'd better make sure it actually works first...

Porcelain is a slow burning animated short created by students at The Animation Workshop in Viborg, Denmark about sailors, superstitions and the harsh mistress that is the sea.
