Hollywood follows trends, and it shows when several movies with the same premise are released in the same year -sometime in the same weekend. Embarrassing? Maybe, but what really matters is which movie people go to see. Usually in such cases, one film rises to the top, another is regarded as an also-ran, and maybe a third goes quickly to home video.
