I like to imagine the streak is created by an alien spacecraft, one which doesn't dare come to Earth for fear of being destroyed by the ignorant masses, and inside that spacecraft is a cute little alien pilot hungry for adventure. His name is Kirby, which is a perfectly appropriate name for both humans and aliens, and he's one of the toughest warriors in the universe despite the fact that he looks like a piece of bubble gum. Kirby wants to come see us, and knows he'll probably meet a few friends on Earth, but he knows humanity isn't ready to receive him yet so he stays high in the sky until that fateful day.
