If The Lottery Was Honest

Roger from Cracked is back with an Honest Ad about playing the lottery. Sure, we all dream about what we would do with those millions of dollars, but the truth is that the odds are not in your favor. Too bad it's the only retirement plan many people have.

And what's worse, even if you do win it's not all lollipops and roses. Your relatives think you've won a million dollars, while you actually end up with about enough to pay off your house. Congratulations. -via Laughing Squid

True if you ever won an insane amount of money, it would change your life forever and possibly in bad ways. I play the Fantasy 5 here almost daily for $1 and once won $1200 with 4 numbers on a rollover day. I also play the Lotto here on Wed and Sat for $1. Once I had 5 numbers and won $7K. Went to the local Lotto office to pick up my winnings and Uncle Sam took out $1500 for his share. I understand Canada winners up there do not have to pay income tax on winning their lotteries.
