A Trip to the Zoo

If you’re in the right frame of mind, like if you’ve seen a lot of horror movie because it’s October, you can find horror anywhere. Shadrach451 shared a picture he took of his daughters at the zoo. It turned out to look like a teaser for a creepy horror film. He even has a plot for it.

I like to think that it's about a Ghost Zoo, and their father is one of the exhibits, called "The Weeping Man". And these girls go every week so they can visit their dead father, but one day they show up and find that there is a new exhibit being built next door and they read the sign and it says "Children of The Weeping Man". In horror they turn towards their father, locked in the green chamber of torment and he says, "My daughters, oh my daughters... why do you think I'm weeping?"

The image inspired two movie posters, one from JimmerUK and the other from Your_Post_As_A_Movie. But it’s the story that sold me. If someone makes that movie, we have evidence of the inspiration.

It probably didn't kill them, but I'm sure the bugs were all WTF?! In any case, it's not cool to use living creatures in this way. I won't be buying a Samsung.

zenparadox,

You have got to be kidding... You do more damage to insects every time you get in a car (what do you think those smudges on the windshield are?)

@ethicalBob

Worst comparison.

One thing if you do it unintentionally and another matter is if you harm animals only to entertain others. And that is what Samsung is doing.

Think about it.

PS: Can you give me a hint how I could avoid killing insects with a car, swerving???

C'mon people, this is clearly very well CGI. To hit a house fly requires god like skills because flies have pretty good sensors to detect air disturbances and they have special wings that give them super evasion

Hmm... special wings...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Insect_wing gives the tiniest snippet of:
"In the Diptera (true flies), the posterior pair of wings are reduced to halteres, which help the fly to sense its orientation and movement, as well as to improve balance by acting similar to gyroscopes."
Basically insects have 2 sets of wings but some flies have evolved to lose a set in place for some gyroscopes that allow it super reaction speed and manoeuverability.
At least, I hope I'm right in thinking this.

i REALLY like people who think that just because they didn't put the bolt in the cow's brain, that when their steak comes out of their ass so does the guilt. the video was genius. and if a few gross bugs died to make my heart soar, then so be it. i would kill a million bugs with my fists and feet if it could make 1 child happy. or i would kill a million children to make 1 bug happy. that's just who i am.
