Pictures of an Empty Walt Disney World

As hurricane Matthew bore down on Florida on Friday, even people who don’t follow the news could tell this was going to be a big one. You may be familiar with FEMA’s Waffle House Index, which tells us that when Waffle House closes, it’s definitely time head for the hills. And the diners closed up and down the east coast of the Southern U.S. But this time, even Walt Disney World closed up -and it isn’t even near the coast!

It didn’t last long, all the Disney theme parks reopened Saturday morning. The last visitors to leave couldn't resist snapping a few pictures. See 23 images of an empty Walt Disney World. -via The Daily Dot
