Loopholes

Don’t you just love it when kids look for loopholes? They start this as soon as they understand language and rules, and it continues until they become adults and figure out that parents know best, most of the time. I have one child left at home who is eighteen, and she thinks she doesn’t need to keep me informed of her whereabouts or expected arrival home. Fine, I said, but if you can’t tell me when my car will be home, you can drive your own vehicle, which you don’t have. This is the latest from John McNamee at Pie Comic.

Ok, IMHO the "can't tell me when my car will be home...drive your own" comment deserves a standing ovation. Bravo (and thanx = I'm saving that line for the near future *grin*)!
