Obey The Blue Puppets And Don't Put It In Your Mouth

Parents have a responsibility to teach their kids it's not okay to chew on the gum stuck under tables, the dog doo on the sidewalk or that dead bird they found on the playground.

Plus they've gotta let the kids know all about that stranger danger.

But it's hard to stop putting weird stuff in your mouth when you're a kid, which is why kids who grew up in Canada in the 90s needed two furry blue puppets to tell them Don't Put It In Your Mouth.

This bizarre puppet PSA created in 1993 by the Concerned Children's Advertisers group in Canada really puts the concept of stranger danger in perspective, as in stay away from strange puppets!

I would guess that any Canadian around age 30 knows this song and I'm sure most - like me - hum it when anyone mentions putting something in his mouth. Strangely though, I don't remember the commercial. I'm thinking I heard it on the playground.
