Whether you eat out all the time or your only go out on special occassions, life is too short for bad food. That's why we're loving this great Thrillist list that features most of the major cities in the US, each with their own link to the 50 best things to eat in that city. I can't vouch for all of their recommendations, but the ones listed for San Diego are pretty dead on. So Neatorama readers, how do their recommendations line up with your favorite places in your city?

Well for St. Louis, I'd definitely put fried ravioli on there. IMO's pizza is the best in the world (that's my pedantic humble opinion.) KC, most definitely bbq.

Instead of just being pedantic about the headline, why not also offer suggestions of local foods? St Louis and KC are both known for BBQ ("Saint Louis style ribs", anyone?). Or there's Imo's pizza, which started the wafer-thin-pizza-crust craze.

Baltimore's might be crab cake or sandwiches.

Based on Wikipedia's list of US metropolitan areas by population it's missing Phoenix (#12), Cleveland (#16), Orlando (#20) and others before getting to Memphis at #46, so it covers 26 of the first 46 major US cities, or somewhat more than half of them.

Oh, good call. Although I think they'd have had a much better headline if they'd just left out EVERY. "The 50 Best Foods in Major American Cities."
