Patience

Patience is a time-lapse movie, not a video. Paul Richardson took 300,000 still images around Britain and other parts of Europe and stitched them together using the hyperlapse technique. For some sequences he used camera rails and some panoramic shots, but mostly it was set up the tripod, shoot, move the tripod a little, and set up the shot again.

Richardson said he worked “on and off” over the last four months. Each second of the finished video took about seven hours of work, but the quality of the individual images make the sequence seem magic. It’s now his showreel. I suggest watching it in full-screen mode.  -via reddit
