And once that merc with a mouth starts spreading his madness through your system you'll be lucky if the thing detects fallout when you're standing in the middle of a nuclear waste dump. Your VATS system will start to malfunction, telling you everyone is "full chimichanga", and all S.P.E.C.I.A.L. attributes will be replaced with skills like "sword polishing", "pistol based stand up comedy" or my personal favorite "Deathclaw hugging for dummies". So take a tip from me and keep that Pip-Boy comic book free!
