It can be quite a downer when we have celebrity encounters with people of whom we're big fans, only to have them act like jerks in response to respectful approaches on our end. None of them are as good as James Doohan (Scotty from Star Trek) who used the Star Trek convention circuit to keep a fan from committing suicide.
