When This Developmentally Disabled Basketball Player Landed a Basket, Everyone Reacted Perfectly

Robert Lewis, who has Down Syndrome, is the team manager for the basketball team of Franklin Road Academy in Nashville, Tennessee. In the final minutes of a game against the University School of Nashville, he stepped onto the court to play.

Guarding him on the opposing team was Matthew, his own brother. In the final few seconds of the game, Robert landed a perfect 3-point shot. Both teams and the spectators charged the court, surrounded Robert, lifted him on their shoulders, and carried him around in celebration.
