That may be true, but we have a tendency to take recipes from all over the world and change them to make them our own. That’s especially true of barbecue, which is now truly American. I would have liked to see them try more traditional American sauces. The average American BBQ consumer does not eat their BBQ with raspberry sauce and citrus marinades.

The brisket needs to be sandwiched, too. With onions and pickles. And I'm curious why none of them commented that it smells, or tastes, like smoke?
