It looks like an ordinary LEGO brick. But in the hands of a careless child, it becomes a dangerous weapon.
If you're a parent, you know this because you've experienced the agony of stepping onto a LEGO brick with your bare feet. A physicist has explained precisely why they hurt so much, but you may not be that curious if there's one embedded in your arch right now. All you want to do is protect your feet.
LEGO understands, which is why the company has commissioned the creation of specially-designed slippers with extra padding on the bottom. The ad agency Brand Station has arranged for 1,500 pairs to be made prior to the Christmas season, when an ordinary home becomes a minefield. That's not nearly enough.
