When Edmonton Oilers Captain Andrew Ference went missing the Edmonton police department turned to a brave young hero named Spider-Mable for help.
Six-year-old Spider-Mable took to the streets of Edmonton accompanied by her hero Spider-Man, and together they spoke to police and the mayor to gather clues and track down Andrew, acting like a real life superhero for a day.
Mable has been battling leukemia for two years, and since her treatment is coming to an end the Make-A-Wish Foundation sprang into action to fulfill Mable's wish to be a superhero for a day.
And it all started with this adorable video featuring Edmonton police sergeant Steve Sharpe calling out for Spider-Mable's help.
