Before Marvel started getting it right on the big screen we were subjected to disasters like Daredevil starring Ben Affleck and Elektra starring Jennifer Garner, not to mention what they did to my beloved Howard The Duck back in ’86.
With the way things are going for Marvel nowadays it’s hard to imagine any of their future projects bombing, and it seems like they’ve got more characters than they need for those future projects.
But what about all the proposed projects that never left the drawing board?
mental_floss has put together a dazzling array of information about 8 Marvel Movies That Never Left The Drawing Board, including- a She-Hulk project starring Brigitte Nielsen, Quentin Tarantino's take on Luke Cage, and a far out Silver Surfer flick with a suitably psychedelic score by Paul McCartney.
And what's more, they started off with the best franchises, and now they can only head downhill. No matter how good Ant-man is, it's not going to have the draw of an Iron Man or Avengers movie. And after every film, the MCU get stretched and a bit more ridiculous each time.
