I don't know about you, but sometimes when a television show is an absolute abomination, I'm more likely to tune in on occasion. I have friends who will sit around with me for the express purpose of making fun of seriously bad television. Sure, we're ne'er do wells, but we enjoy ourselves.
This brief look at seven awful shows from the 1980s includes one that will always have a dedicated space in the horrors of television ingrained in my memory: Small Wonder. It's so terrible, it's almost enjoyable.
Those who compiled this list write that they

I can honestly say that I do not recall watching one minute of any of those shows. One show that really disappointed me was Bob Newhart's follow up to the hilarious "Newhart" innkeeper show. It was Bob as a cartoonist or something like that. Put it into the "what were they thinking" category.

I remember enjoying Small Wonder, in part because she robot girl was my age and I thought that she was cute.

Same with John Farrier. I remember watching Small Wonder religiously. As a tweener in the 80s, I had a crush with the robot girl. At least they didn't bash Punky Brewster too!

How did Airwolf NOT make this list? The original series was bad enough, but then, in the 4th season, they couldn't even afford the helicopter any more, so they just spliced in old footage of it flying around and hoped nobody would notice. (Kind of like when the Duke boys were replaced by a couple of lookalikes and the folks in Hazard County thought nobody would notice. Yeah, TV sucked in the '80s.)
