When President Johnson was born in 1808, President John Adams—the second President and one of the original revolutionaries—was still alive.
So the U.S. is only 4 Presidents old.

Two grandsons of President Tyler (b.1790) are still alive. It's conceivable that there are people alive with a grandfather born before 1776.
