Leah Rogers and Ryan Flanaghan were at a flea market in Cornwall, England selling off a few of their unwanted items when they found the rare Princess Diana Beanie Baby being sold by another vendor. Ryan, a former collector, recognized the find and excitedly bought it for ten pounds ($14.96 US), knowing he stood to make a profit. According to the Daily Mail, another similar Beanie Baby is currently on the market for $375,000, yet Rogers and Flanaghan have listed theirs at a modest starting price of approximately $30,000. The couple hopes to earn enough from their find to make a down payment on their first home.
