Rarely are food trucks so pink and cute. The Hello Kitty Cafe truck has been making appearances in California this year. Many San Franciscans are looking forward to the food truck being in their area during the Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival on April 11-12 and April 18-19 in Japantown.
On the menu are cupcakes, donuts, macaroons, petit four mini cakes, a water bottle shaped like a bow, hot chocolate and lemonade. Each item sold is in the shape and/or colors of Sanrio's celebrated anthropomorphic cat.
Check out the Cafe's Facebook page to see additional photos and learn about the locations of its upcoming stops, and follow them on Instagram.

"Hello Kitty is not a cat, the company behind Japan's global icon of cute insisted Thursday, despite an uproar from Internet users who spluttered: "But she's got whiskers!"
The moon-faced creation that adorns everything from pencil cases to pajamas the world over is, in fact, human.
"Hello Kitty is a cheerful and happy little girl with a heart of gold," brand owner Sanrio says on its website."
