A winter this wicked can only mean one thing: someone with magical power of manipulating ice and snow is messing around with the weather.
So the Harlan City Police Department of Kentucky (where the temperature was in the single digits) did what any responsible law enforcement would do: they issued an all points bulletin for the arrest of Queen Elsa from Frozen.
"Suspect is a blonde female last seen wearing a long blue dress and is known to burst into song 'Let It Go!'" states the HPD. "As you can see by the weather she is very dangerous. Do not attempt to apprehend her alone," the bulletin warns the general public.

Yup, they froze. It hasn't been this cold here in 20 years, and I missed the forecast and did not leave the water running overnight as I should have. That's the only way to prevent pipes from bursting, and we'll find out how bad it is when they finally thaw.

Brr! When you said "we won't have water again today" does this mean that the main water pipes to the house get frozen? How do they prevent it from bursting?

Harlan's not too far from here -I was born in that county. The temperature may have been in the single digits when they did this, but it's much colder now. It was 17 below zero when I got up this morning. Looks like we won't have water again today.
