The popular HBO drama series Girls is about young women in their 20s who live in New York City. Their stories are apparently timeless because lines from the dialogue can be perfectly matched with classical works of Western art, such as Caravaggio’s head of Medusa.
Mean Girls Art History is a Tumblr blog filled with similar combinations. It’s the funniest thing I’ve seen all day, and I’ve never even watched Girls.
