Aspiring model and singer Anna Faith Carlson never considered that a single picture posted on Instagram would make her into a Disney Princess, but that’s what happened. Her resemblance to Queen Elsa from the Disney movie Frozen has opened the doors to a new career.
Carlson’s journey as Elsa began during a trip to the Altamonte Mall with her mother, Karen, and younger sister, Lexus, who convinced her to pose next to a cardboard cutout of the Disney character.
“I said, ‘Whatever, I’ll just take the picture,’” she recalled. She posted it that night on her Instagram account. “It blew up from there.”
The notoriety landed her spots on Good Morning America, Fox News and in publications like the New York Daily News, Time Magazine and Cosmopolitan.
Nineteen-year-old Carlson began making appearance at birthday parties, hospitals, charities, and schools. She is accompanied by her 15-year-old sister Lexie, who dresses as Anna. They were even flown to Dubai to appear at a young girl’s birthday party.
