The Clowns of America Are Mad At American Horror Story: Freak Show

So did you kids watch the premier of American Horror Story: Freak Show? From the ratings to the instant renewal for a fifth season as soon as the first episode of this season debuted, safe to say many of you did. A constantly creepy and shocking show, from the tone set in this season's premier, seems the show may be set to top its former seasons with more scares and more lines they are willing to cross.

But guess who watched the premier and were not at all amused? Actual clowns. As this article in The Hollywood Reporter talks about, seems there is an actual association of clowns out there (sorry guys, but even that sounds terrifying) who want to make it so clowns are no longer represented as something people should fear.

The single scariest moment of my entire life was when I was almost dragged from the audience by clowns at a circus in Boston (they were trying to get me on stage, but I was pretty convinced they were gonna eat me), and I have felt a deep rooted fear of clowns since. Coulrophobia for you science nerds. So sorry clowns, but I am with American Horror Story on this one. You don't get any sympathy from me. And John Wayne Gacy didn't help your cause, either.
