This cool video entitled Beautiful Chemical Reactions is a product of the Beautiful Chemistry project, for which University of Science and Technology of China has teamed up with Tsinghua University Press in an effort to help lay people understand and take an interest in chemistry. Eight different chemical reactions are captured here by filmmaker and editor Yan Liang, in a more artistic and appealing way than most videos of the sort are filmed. Visit the Beautiful Chemistry website and their Vimeo channel to keep up with their efforts. -Via Colossal
