Homeowner Discovers Hilariously Rude Note Under Floorboard While Renovating

Most home buyers go about renovating their new home without thinking about the structure’s past, like who had a hand in building the place and when the building took place.

Sometimes renovations are necessary, sometimes they're done simply for the sake of aesthetic appeal, but no matter the human motivation the home itself doesn’t have anything to say about the renovations.

However, new homeowner Alex Robinson discovered he recently bought a house that doesn’t appreciate renovations, and isn't afraid to tell its new owner exactly how it feels.

As Alex was working on the floors in his newly purchased row house in historic Charlestown, Massachusetts he discovered a board bearing a message to the discoverer:

The board reads:

And America at war to fight Germany.

Threshold 5/10/41 by Albert Stella this floor was laid. Go f*** yourself.

Now that's how a builder leaves a bit of themselves behind!

When I removed a medicine cabinet, I found a rude comment some guy wrote about a fellow builder. It's funny how something like that makes you feel connected to the people who built your home.
