Do you need to get in touch with your kids? There's an app for that.
One day, Texas mom* Sharon Standifird tried to call her teenage children who were gallivanting about away from home. They ignored her calls and texts. Stanifird became worried. Although her kids were okay, she had no reason to think that.
When her kids got back home, Stanifird decided to put an end to this problem. She worked with app developers to build an app that would lock her kids' phones until they called her and got a password from her verbally. They can call 911 and they can call her. But that's it.
The app is called Ignore No More. It's available for Android devices. Is it any good? Stanifird's son, Bradley, likes the idea--in theory:
Um, well I thought it was a good idea, but for other people, not me.
