Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall.
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
A cement version of Humpty Dumpty, created by artist Roger Tofte, sat on a wall at Enchanted Forest theme park in Salem, Oregon, since 1970. Until Saturday, when two men climbed the wall. And Humpty fell.
All the king’s horses and all the king’s men
Couldn’t put Humpty Dumpty together again.
Maybe the king’s men were unable, but Tofte, now 84 years old, said he would take a crack at it. Not a repair, but making a brand new Humpty Dumpty for the park.
“It’s going to take a few hours to start from scratch again,” Tofte told KOIN 6 News, but he said he has “some creative juices left.”
The men who caused the accident said they would pay for the damage. KOIN has a video report. -via Arbroath
