The latest music video from Rhett & Link is about OCD- Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. I had my doubts about posting it, because this is not what OCD is like at all. This is about the popular misconceptions of OCD. However, there is a disclaimer at the YouTube page:
NOTE: We understand that OCD is a serious mental disorder that significantly affects the lives of millions of people (including Rhett's wife). This song is not intended to make fun of people with OCD, but rather to demonstrate and poke fun at the tendency of so many people to point out things that are off-center, off-balance, etc. and say "It's driving my OCD crazy!". When you know the intention, the song makes more sense. The song is more in line with OCPD, an unfortunately-named personality disorder which contains neither obsessiveness nor compulsiveness. Freud called it “anal-retentive.” While most people like a sense of order to varying degrees, actual OCPD as a disorder is not all that common.
