If makers of fine porcelain figurines from the late 19th century had met H.G. Wells and agreed to accompany him on a voyage forward in time they would have come back with the craziest stories about tech gadgets, an abundance of horseless carriages, and the fact that many people in society have adopted a somewhat tribal look, which includes covering their bodies in tattoos.
These time travelers would have most likely created porcelain figurines that look a lot like the works of Jessica Harrison, which are currently on display at Galerie L.J. in Paris, France as part of her show entitled Flash.
Finely sculpted figures dressed in their fineries sporting the finest traditional tattoos money can buy, now that’s the kind of full body tattoing even your grandma can appreciate!
