Skip ahead to the happiest day of their lives, as you can tell from their facial expressions. This complete sequence starts with the first date and ends with the first baby.
A set of tinted stereographs from the late 19th-century was less an educational tool than it is entertainment. Before moving pictures, it was state-of-the-art entertainment, too! Alas, we only get to see 24 of the stages, as one card is missing from the the Harper Stereograph Collection of the Boston Public Library.
