My children were all born in the '90s, so they have no concept of life before the internet. It was different. If two people had a disagreement, it would have to simmer until the library opened tomorrow or the TV schedule came in the newspaper. We had to call a phone number to find out what the temperature was. And we carried clocks on our wrists! It was a strange time, kids. But not nearly as strange as the 1950s, before they invented color. Comic by Randall Munroe of xkcd.
If you threw me back in time to before the age of the internet (or, rather, the world wide web), I think that I could adapt fairly well. But I would be hard for me to cope without word processing.
