The Tube of Mystery

(YouTube link)

Richard Wiseman (previously at Neatorama) pulls a bottle out of an empty cardboard tube. How does he do it? He states up front that there are no edits in the video; it’s done in real time. Then he does it. Then he shows you how it’s done. Then you have to go back and watch a second time to figure out how on earth you were so easily fooled. The second time, it’s all so obvious! -via reddit

The lineup also caught my eye. After second viewing I was about to complain that there was a cut from the beginning to the actual trick. Then I realized that the text during the cut was "what you are *about* to has no edits", not "the entire video has no edits." Double sneaky!

I'll admit I missed the painting 'swap' in the beginning, but he does line and adjust the tube to the edge of the painting which was just unnatural enough to be eye catching.
