In Japanese Buddhism, butsudans are small cabinet-shaped shrines, often kept in private homes. They typically contain an idol to the Buddha and pictures of deceased loved ones.
What you see above are pictures of a shop in Tokyo that display butsudans in a car drive-through format. Customers can drive through the lane. If they spot butsudans that they want to buy, they can simply push an intercom button to speak with a salesperson, who will bring the requested items out.
