Redditor boothin shows us this lovely shawl that his wife knitted. It is an accurate circular star map of the sky over the Northern Hemisphere! The stars are 350 crystal beads. It’s a combination of this pattern, using beads for the stars instead of holes, and this pattern for the edging. See more pictures at imgur.

Looks like the north star Polaris, the one that is in the center and moves the least when you take a long exposure star trail picture.
