Visiting museums and taking in all the art is fine and dandy, but sometimes all that silent nodding in appreciation and flash photography free viewing via eyeballs can get a bit boring. People want to see art, appreciate art and be inspired by art, but many enthusiasts would also like to interact with the art, and art doesn’t come much more interactive than these playful pieces by Li Hongbo.
Li juxtaposes classic style with playful deconstruction, creating each piece out of thousands of sheets of paper interwoven in such a way that they can stretch out, twist and bend like a big ol' Slinky!
