You can’t really ride your choppers around in Samara, Russia during the winter, so bikers had to come up with another way to get around town- sleds powered by motorcycle engines.
The tenth annual Snowdogs motor-sled competition recently took place, and photographer Dmitri Ruzov was there to capture all the ingenious contraptions that hit the ice.
Some of the vehicles in attendance were basically just sleds with motors slapped on them, while others retained their motorcycle roots and actually look like they’d be a lot of fun to ride. However, the one that looks like a frame and wheel attached to an airplane engine seems like a total deathtrap.
