Double exposure images used to require re-threading and re-shooting the entire roll of film before developing to create a double exposure on each negative.
Now, thanks to digital editing software, creating a multiple exposure image doesn’t take as much time or effort, so the creation of a great multi-shot comes down to choosing the right subjects.
Those subjects are what makes the photos in Issui Enomoto's ethereal series, which are taken on the streets of Japan from Issui's taxi cab, so visually appealing and lends an otherworldly feel to the urban landscape.
