The film 300, based on the Frank Miller/Lynn Varley graphic novel of the same name, is full of battles, bloodshed and masculine bravado as befitting a film about ancient Sparta and the Battle of Thermopylae. Frank Miller has been working on a graphic novel sequel entitled Xerxes for the last three years, and now it's set to come out some time after the sequel film entitled 300:Rise of an Empire.
Legendary Films turned to illustrator Alex Pardee when they needed a suitably epic poster for the film's premier, and Alex definitely didn't disappoint with his appropriately gruesome design for what's already being called "the bloodiest film of the year".
