Calcifer is a character in the classic anime movie Howl's Moving Castle. He's a fire demon. He powers Howl's magical castle by burning continuously.
DeviantART member KAkkoilTO is a cosplayer. If she wants to carry Calcifer around at a convention, it probably wouldn't do to actually carry a flaming pot. So she devised this clever prop.
It's made of cut up plastic bottles and cellophane. She heated it with a cigarette lighter to curl the flames and then added color with copic markers. There's also a light inside the pan.
