Anyone who has to use a cane knows how useful they are, but Lanzavecchia + Wai (the same team that brought us the delightfully fun Rocking Bench) discovered a way to make using a cane around the house even more useful. There are three models of the Together Cane -the I-cane, which features a laptop or iPad desk, the T-cane, that can be used as a tea tray, and the U-cane, can be used to carry and store magazines and/or crafting supplies.
And so the elderly don't have to lift up the loaded up canes, they come with wheels, which are presumably tight enough to prevent the wheels from slipping out from under the user.
