A year ago, Andy Martin (also known as Handymartian) launched a year-long project to design new planets, one every month. He not only designed the planets, he also gave each their own population, with a new alien every day -see them at Illustrated Aliens. And each one was animated into a video as well. Twelve months, twelve planets, and the planetary system that made up the year-long project called The Planets is completed.
