Adapting to Chicago Weather

(YouTube link)

Some people find it easier to deal with very cold weather than others. Tyler Langford moved from his native Georgia to Chicago to follow his dreams, just in time to experience a polar vortex. He's having a hard time dealing with the simple task of getting from his home to work. Along the way he describes how the difference in weather feels to a Southern boy. It's not pretty. -via Daily Picks and Flicks

I get that it's all done for show, but as someone currently coping with the situation, I have to be a party-pooper and say that his lack of a red nose and no vapor coming from his nose and mouth are pretty clear indications that he filmed this in non-sub-zero temps.

You're right, at the end there is a little vapor and a little flushing. That puts the temperature between 20-40ºF, I'd guess. Believe me, if he were truly taking a video of himself outside during the sub-zero period, it would have looked a lot different. I'm thinking maybe the video was shot Saturday or Sunday night before the temperature plummeted.
