Street luge is a lot like the winter sport of luge. You lie down a sled and roll down a hill, hopefully faster than any other competitor while not dying.
Normally, luge sleds are powered just by gravity. But Daz Fellows, a professional-level street luge athlete from Australia, is going even further. He wants to set a new speed record in the sport, which requires him to reach at least 124.27 miles an hour. To do so, he built a luge sled with jet engines.
Mr. Fellows built a carbon fiber board that is 9.8 feet long and 2 feet wide. The board itself is a fuel tank which holds 1.3 gallons of fuel. With afterburners, the two engines produce 537 pounds of thrust.
This looks like one of the best ways to die EVER!
