I’ve just discovered the syndicated comic strip Real Life Adventures by Lance Aldrich and Gary Wise. It’s hilarious.
Maybe pancakes really are coming. The 76th Ferengi Rule of Acquisition says, “Every once in a while, declare peace. It confuses the hell out of your enemies.” This can be easily expressed as the well-known management principle: every now and then, be nice to your employees. That way, when you step on them, it takes them by surprise.
