How Old Are Your Ears?

(YouTube link)

How many of the frequency tones in this video can you hear? Turns out I'm alive and not hearing-impaired. But that's it. I heard no other frequencies in this video. But at my age, it appears that's normal. They say the memory is the second thing to go …and I guess hearing is the first. -via Viral Viral Videos

The squeaky wheel no longer gets the grease. Oh well, that's what children are for.

Interestingly, now that 80s music is all over the radio, I've noticed I can't turn it up without hurting my ears. It's grating to me now, so my parents' objections to it make more sense. Sorry mom.

I compared this video to other high frequency hearing tests and did better on others. I got to 17khz on other tests but couldn't hear 18khz.

if you can't hear the higher freqs, your headphones or speakers could be limiting, my headphones frequency response is 21-18000hz so anything higher than about 18khz can't be reproduced by my headphones
