Being British I found that normal and I didn't have to watch twice.
*I've actually just seen it on the t.v. Suppose it is a bit weird.

Once you know how it ends, go back and notice the difference between the two in skipping rocks, the shadows, the huffing and puffing, the size of the glasses, and quite a few other clues you didn't see the first time.
