Have you ever wanted to live inside an anime or manga series? You may get to in the future. A Japanese company led by entrepreneur Takahito Iguchi is developing an augmented reality viewer similar to Google Glass. If the project is successful, users will see a mangafied version of the world as they look through the viewers:
Just like Google Glass, the user has to wear the device like eyeglasses, but this one has ear buds and there is an optically projected small screen in front of the eyes of the wearer, while a partner captures the images, using a cell phone app, that the user sees on the screen. The developers say that later on, the user can take photos and videos from the headset itself and then stream it to the cellphone app. Iguchi says that the main purpose of Telepathy One is for the user to be able to share to anyone they want what they are seeing, right at that moment, regardless of where they are right now.

Hatsune Miku is not a manga character, but is the avatar for a Vocaloid voice made by Crypton Future Media.
